Storytelling and Fundraising: Once upon a time…
There will always be new trends and challenges in planned giving and philanthropy. Trends such as changing demographics, blended gifts and blended responsibilities, increasing use of DAFs, metrics, and technology advances – all continue to change the environment and influence how we operate. Perhaps one of our biggest current challenges is the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. One surefire way to successfully navigate trends and challenges is to share your stories. Powerful storytelling will help you to be a more successful fundraiser, and to live happily ever after!
