Bill Sturtevant

“How to Close”:   Tips and Techniques to use with your best prospects!

You have identified your best prospects.  You have cultivated them and you know they are passionate about your cause and aligned with your project.

Now, it’s time to close the gift!  Are you ready?  Is this the right time? Have you done all the preparations and research to make this work?  What key questions should you ask?  How do you create a sense of urgency? How do you handle objections? Who should you include in the meeting? These are just a few of the questions that will be covered in this Super Session.

In this 2-part session, Bill Sturtevant will provide practical insight from the hundreds of gifts he has participated in closing in billion dollars capital campaigns. Bill is a nationally recognized specialist in major and deferred gifts and planning and solicitation strategies.  His guiding tenet is that the dedication to the best interest of our donors is the only way to achieve the objectives of the charitable organizations we serve. In these two sessions, Bill will discuss the keys to successfully closing both outright and legacy major gifts.  You will learn the subtle differences and keys to the Artful Journey in successfully closing gifts that are in the best interests of your institution and the donor.

Bill is a highly popular and sought after speaker.  Join us!
