FAQs: New 2027 Membership Model

General Structure & Application Questions

Q: Why did the membership application process change?
Previously, local PGC-MidTN membership was included automatically when you paid national dues through NACGP. NACGP has updated its process, requiring local Partner Clubs to manage their own membership applications and local dues structure directly.
Q: Am I required to join both PGC-MidTN and NACGP?
Yes. As a Partner Club of NACGP, PGC-MidTN requires all local members to maintain an active membership with NACGP at the national level.
Q: How do I apply for both organizations?
You will complete two separate online applications and payments:
- New members to PGC-MidTN can complete the member form and pay the local $75 dues directly to PGC-MidTN via our local application portal.
- Renewing members are able to renew through the member portal by logging in at the PGC-MidTN chapter site.
- Pay your national dues directly to NACGP via their online portal.

Dues & Program Savings Questions

Q: What does the $75 PGC-MidTN annual fee cover?
Your $75 annual fee grants you free admission to all 6 of our bi-monthly educational and networking programs held throughout the year.

Q: What if I prefer not to join as a local member?
You are still welcome to attend our events! Non-members may register for individual educational programs at a rate of $35 per event. The event registration process remains the same as always.
Q: How does the annual membership pay for itself?
Non-members pay $35 per event. If you attend 3 events as a nonmember, you will spend $105. By paying the $75 annual membership fee, attending 3 events costs you $75 total—saving you money while giving you free access to the remaining 3 events of the year.

Q: What are the new 2027 NACGP Membership Tiers?
Starting January 2027, NACGP is offering multiple membership tiers to accommodate individual professionals, teams and organizations. Details and tier options can be reviewed directly on the NACGP Membership Options Page.
Q: What national benefits do I get through NACGP?
Active NACGP membership gives you access to nationwide resources, including:
- The CGP Link listserv, connecting you with gift planners across the country for advice and benchmarking.
- Regulatory and legislative advocacy updates affecting charitable giving.
- Discounts on the National Conference, webinars and educational research materials.
